WHO WE ARE
In Dark Skies we balance solid Mythic raiding progression with everyone’s needs for career and family. But more than that, we’re a community that is a family unto itself, where everyone becomes true friends and get to know each other. We recruit based on both performance AND personality, to create a fun, friendly, relaxed environment where we also kick butt.
We’re a mature group mostly consisting of professionals & parents with young children. So we raid late, after the kids are in bed. Our members range from age 21 to 52, with most in the 30+ range. Our group includes professors, game designers, software developers, college students, and many others.
We value each other as friends, not just as people we raid with. We hang out on discord a lot, including non-raid days, and enjoy helping each other with achievements, farming old mounts, or just shooting the breeze.
Most of all, we’re about people. Because raiding isn’t really about classes, or gear, or specs.
Raiding is about people!
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Personality is the most important thing. We want mature, easy-going people who like to have fun.
- That being said, we are a Mythic raiding guild, so everybody needs to perform at that level. We’re very happy to work together to bring up our numbers, help with add-ons and macros, etc. We’re happy to take good raiders we like, as long as they’re willing to become great raiders. (We will NOT take raiders we don’t like! We don’t care how great they are.)
- All ages are welcome, but we are mostly an older group.
- Respect for diversity is a must. People come from different backgrounds, and we all need to respect that.
- Please be respectful of others’ time! We all have busy lives and time is at a premium.
- Must have Mythic logs / progression history. (From previous xpac is fine.)

Alpha is a progression-minded guild that has enjoyed success for over 16 years. We have consistently achieved Cutting Edge over the lifespan of the guild and look to emphasize longevity when we consider bringing in new members. Our membership is comprised of a diverse group with an average age in the late 20’s, with some outliers. We are pretty open on Discord and expect prospective members to be able to interact socially and contribute a personality to the guild.
Alts are not a requirement for raiders but many raiders enjoy playing alts and we occasionally use them for progression if the situation warrants. We keep them current through weekly heroic raids which are also attended by friends and family members.
We raid from 9 PM EST to 12 PM EST Tuesday-Thursday. 9 hours a week. We occasionally add optional time at the start of a tier to clear normal/heroic. During farm, we only raid one to two days per week (Tuesday and/or Wednesday).

Trial Process:
The majority of our raid team has played together for many years. As a result, our trial period is typically quite lengthy, as we look to recruit people that can fit in long-term. Being an appropriate social fit is just as important as performing well in raid. We will give all accepted applicants ample opportunity to prove they should stay on as a member. During this time applicants may receive items and are encouraged to be active with the guild during and outside of raids in things like Mythic+. When filling out an application, we ask you to think about what you want to say to us and what you feel is important that we should know. Keep in mind that this will likely be your only chance to create a good impression.

We distribute loot via an officer led loot council, for the purpose of improving the future success of the raid.

ABOUT OUR GUILD
Eclipsed, a large gaming community, is a WoW Guild located on Stormrage that was created by a group of veteran players that wanted to build a community-oriented guild that encompasses all aspects of the game and doing it with other people to achieve our best possible playability.

Commit Alpha is a multi-team guild with a focus on Raiding, Mythic Plus, as well as occasional backdrop events and guild activities. This can range from doing in guild challenges for survival in Classic and WoW events like Plunderstorm and Remix, and of course gearing up for the upcoming War Within expansion. Several of us enjoy other games on occasion as well, but we are all getting excited for that new expac!

Who we are:
Volatile is a semi-hardcore alliance guild on US-Whisperwind. We raid Wednesdays and Thursdays 7pm-10pm CST. Founded in Cataclysm, we provide a fun, laid back raiding environment that focuses on mythic progression. We pride ourselves in providing a stable and positive environment for our raiders. We always get AoTC and work our way through mythic the best we can.
