About the guild:
Nox is a welcoming and mature raiding guild that consists of experienced players with relationships going all the way back to Vanilla.

We are a mature community who enjoy World of warcraft in most aspects of the game.
We raid Wednesdays and Sundays, and have a very laid back atmosphere during the raid, in-between boss pulls there will be no shortage of dad jokes and a general joking mood, we do though expect people to be able to perform at their best capability’s and be serious during boss encounters.
Most of us are mature people with kids and have a full understanding about real life and its obligations. and therefor do not expect 100% attendance.

There is no shortage of M+ groups, from alt runs in-between +1 and +8, and more serious groups going above +10.
There will be people online most of the day to socialize with and do M+. During non raid days there is alt raids, Achievement runs for glory of the?, and to enjoy rest of what WoW has to offer.

We wish for our guildys to find their place to call home amongst our ranks, while enjoying all what World of Warcraft has to offer. We boast ourselves with a friendly and social environment, with lots of people on discord to socialize with.
We value friendly players who are polite and perform at a skillful level during raids and the more challenging parts of the game.

If the community is more what you are after, and not so much the raiding aspect of the game, we are always welcoming socials.
Socials can expect a welcoming atmosphere where there will be people to do content with, on many different difficulties. Occasionally there will be raids where social are more than welcome to tag along and see the insides of the raid, and learn the ropes.

Hesperus (EU Runetotem) is a small international guild with a true family feel. Most of us are no longer in our 20s and have jobs, a partner or something similar, and kids. We all love to log on after a long day of real life and get into raiding / M+ keys while being in a mature, friendly and social environment. Our focus is progressing towards AotC on a steady pace, while not making the raids a stressful experience. Our discord server is filled with good jokes and laughs, but during raids we expect focus while in a boss fight. Our goal is to remain as small and family like as possible, while ensuring to have enough people for our raids every Thursday and monday (20:45–23:00 ST). Therefore we are looking to expand our team but not opening our house for everyone.

What we are looking for in new members:

• You are a mature teamplayer, able to take feedback and communicate respectfully
• Before a raid you read up / watch tactics and come prepared
• You inform if you are able to raid via the events calender and log on in time
• While being an alto-holic like so many of us are, you keep your main up during the tier
• When a wipe happens, you do not turn into a keyboard smashing, screaming being…but instead get back to your body in-game and prepare for the next pull

What we have to offer for new members:

• A mature, friendly and active small guild filled with people willing to help each other
• Well-organised raids with raidleaders that don’t mind explaining something and remain calm whatever happens
• A wide variation of M+ runs of all levels most evenings
• Good jokes and laughs on discord
• Not naming anyone, but we do have one person playing this game with a mechanical hand

• Any DPS with offspec tank / heal is very welcome

About Us

Greetings, gamers.

We’re Burn Notice, a small group of veteran players who love gaming, laughing, and hanging out together. We’re a bunch of grizzled retired murder-hobos enjoying our last moments of glory before the second beer, naptime, or the call of a low-cal turkey bacon sandwich strikes. We like to keep things light and are always ready to see what happens when you poke things with a stick—for science, of course.

Raiding Schedule

Our raiding style is relaxed, but we still aim high. We remember the glory days and strive to achieve AOTC each season, with the potential to dip our toes into Mythic if we have enough brave souls. So; high like a soaring duck landing on gravel.

• Raiding Days: Wednesday and Sunday
• Time: 8:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Server Time)
• Current Focus: Getting ready for The War Within expansion and helping members explore classes and dabble in S4.

Mythic+ Keys

We’re pretty chill and will run a range of whatever’s needed. We’re always open to helping returning and newer players, as long as you bring an open mind and some spare memory for the bright crayon addons we’ll likely recommend to help you on your quest for shinies.

At the moment we’ve started pushing into 10s, while some of us still haunt the 2-5 bracket.

We’re Looking For…

We’re currently recruiting all roles for raiding in The War Within and can help learners during this Season 4 window. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or a returning player, there’s a place for you. If you’re baked or three sheets to the wind then we can’t help.

• Healers: Priest, Shaman, or Monk preferred
• DPS: Open to all classes!
• Tanks: We’d like more flexibility in our roster, in case one of our tanks gets eaten by a gerbil mysteriously in the night. We’re open to swap arounds.

Our home is on the Connected Realms: Emeriss, Hakkar, Crushridge, Twilight’s Hammer, Agamaggan, and Bloodscalp.

What sort of degeneracy can I expect from Burn Notice?

• Our music bot has recently become infected with Bardcore versions of whatever pop song you fancy, leading to great despair upon the realisation Blue Da Ba Dee was viable in the Middle Ages.
• Most of the guild are parents, so have various warcries of ‘Just a moment, my child has consumed my whole data plan and now I must cry’, ‘Dad Taxi has been summoned’, and ‘you’re old enough to cook now’.
• We have a Dane who has his own channel for NSFW content because if he doesn’t have his own channel the GM would have to delete his posts.
• We have an Andy Tax; screenshot whenever you see anyone mention Andies. He represents his people and must be held accountable.
• Some kind of equality schtick due to the GM’s unfortunate habit of being a woman in spite of clearly being one of the boys, and their wild disinterest in learning more about you outside of your ilvl and playstyle.

Languages

We mainly speak English, but you’re welcome to chat in Norwegian or Danish. There seems to be a Scandic invasion in progress, so you’ll feel right at home. As for Swedish, it’s limited to crafting my own insults - potato tables, watch out!

We have two Dutchmen (one’s Belgian but that’s just discount Dutch anyway). I don’t think anyone wants to hear them gargle either way…

We’re looking to revive the guild and get back into raiding and doing mythic+ runs, so if you’re looking for a chill and laid back community, where progression should be fun, hit us up!

Q & A

Q. What is the amount of players for the guild overall and for the raid team are you aiming to have max?
A. We need a full raid team as minimum, but we also don’t want to get too big, so a maximum of 100 individual active players (not counting alt characters).

Q. How do you plan on handling loot in regards to a current season and when a new tier is released?
A. We usually went with if the one who gets it can use it, they keep it, otherwise we roll for it, and winner decides if they wanna keep it or give it to someone else.

Q. Out of the people you have atm what classes/specs do you have?
A. Nothing worth noting, honestly. We do have a DH who can either tank or dps. We also have two hunters, where one of them also has a rogue, and we have a monk/DK.

Q. Is the plan for the guild to be AOTC or CE focused with regards to raids?
A. If possible we’d like to be AOTC, but the main goal will always be to have fun. Progression is important, and should be a priority, but it should never be more important than having fun. It’s a game.

Q. For mythic+ is there interest/plans on pushing/ improving in that?
A. Pushing keys is always fun and something we enjoy. Would be awesome to set up some M+ teams. So yes, the goal is to push keys!

Q. What system do you have for people who end up being jerks/toxic/drama focused?
A. A maximum of 3 warnings are given, depending on severity of whatever happened. I already have 2 kids and a fulltime job, I don’t wanna deal with BS drama in my guild.
