WHO WE ARE
In Dark Skies we balance solid Mythic raiding progression with everyone’s needs for career and family. But more than that, we’re a community that is a family unto itself, where everyone becomes true friends and get to know each other. We recruit based on both performance AND personality, to create a fun, friendly, relaxed environment where we also kick butt.

We’re a mature group mostly consisting of professionals & parents with young children. So we raid late, after the kids are in bed. Our members range from age 21 to 52, with most in the 30+ range. Our group includes professors, game designers, software developers, college students, and many others.

We value each other as friends, not just as people we raid with. We hang out on discord a lot, including non-raid days, and enjoy helping each other with achievements, farming old mounts, or just shooting the breeze.

Most of all, we’re about people. Because raiding isn’t really about classes, or gear, or specs.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

1. Personality is the most important thing. We want mature, easy-going people who like to have fun.
2. That being said, we are a Mythic raiding guild, so everybody needs to perform at that level. We’re very happy to work together to bring up our numbers, help with add-ons and macros, etc. We’re happy to take good raiders we like, as long as they’re willing to become great raiders. (We will NOT take raiders we don’t like! We don’t care how great they are.)
3. All ages are welcome, but we are mostly an older group.
4. Respect for diversity is a must. People come from different backgrounds, and we all need to respect that.
5. Please be respectful of others’ time! We all have busy lives and time is at a premium.
6. Must have Mythic logs / progression history. (From previous xpac is fine.)

What we expect from our raiders:
-Be online and active and notify the guild in advance of planned absences/tardiness from raid
-Have awareness of mechanics and the raid in general
-Able to take constructive criticism
-Every spot in the raid will be earned and there will be no favoritism/nepotism even from people in positions of rank from the guild
-Be prepared for being swapped in/out of fights when needed to maintain roster readiness
-Having a positive attitude during and outside of progression

Out of Exile is a semi-hardcore guild looking for raiders for S1. We are looking for like-minded individuals who enjoy themselves and each other but take prog seriously, hold themselves accountable/responsible, is okay with constructive criticism, and understands what mythic raiding entails. Our mindset is all raid spots are competitive, parses are not all that matters, and we overall want to enjoy ourselves while maintaining a high standard and healthy culture.

Progression- 8/8N, 4/8H through week 1 of trials

Expectations:
-Knowledge/basic understanding of fights and mechs
-Attendance - around 90% and on time. We believe that real life comes first and understand when things come up, but we are looking for consistency overall.
-Willingness to learn from mistakes and take constructive feedback
-Team first attitude- Players who only care about their numbers overall hurt prog. We want players who are willing to do mechs, not pull good numbers and ignore mechanics.
-Be okay with what mythic progression is (the understanding mythic prog means repeating fights hundreds of times to finally down it).
-Run M+ regularly- we are not looking for 3500 io from everyone, but the ability to run high keys consistently to better gear yourself to not slow down progression.
